California State University, East Bay announces the search for a Vice President for Student Affairs who will provide leadership and vision to the University’s Student Affairs functions and serve as a member of the President’s Cabinet.  The comprehensive student services units under the VPSA’s direction include Accessibility Services, Associated Students Inc. (student government), Enrollment Services (Admissions, Registrar, Financial Aid, and Prospective Student Services), Family and Community Relations, Housing and Residence Life, Student Conduct, Student Life and Leadership and Veterans’ Services.  Supported by a talented staff, the VPSA leads and executes all student development, student life and student support services to enhance and ensure the highest quality student experience and maximize student persistence to graduation.

To read the Leadership Statement for this position, go to .  The successful candidate will have a master’s degree in a related field, doctorate preferred, and a minimum of five (5) years of senior level experience in and knowledge of higher education/Student Affairs.  

This is a position in the California State University Management Personnel Plan (MPP).  Appointments to MPP are at-will and serve at the pleasure of the President.  Salary and benefits are competitive and commensurate with experience.
